Happy Wednesday...Update...Graduations....Oh My!

Hey all you wonderful people...Just wanted to do a Vlog of my MRI/Injury update and some Graduation talk as well.  I want to thank you for all your encouragement and prayers.  You truly keep me going, and I thank God for supportive friends like y'all.

Godspeed...this comes from the Middle English expression "God spede (you)", a wish for success and fortune for one setting out on an enterprise, voyage, adventure, or travels. It may also mean good luck.

  2. You really are Dr. Google - great job figuring out what was wrong and then following up with the real docs. 4 months that's a long time and that was the time line I was given originally too - VERY depressing. I'm sorry you aren't going to be able to do your sept. half. A week before my fall I had signed up for 4 summer/fall halfs and I'm slowly changing those plans one at a time silence there isn't a chance I can do the July or 9/1 half at this point. I can understand the process of getting acceptance for not being able to do what you planned.
Heal now and party later. Hugs bloggy friend!!!!! One day at a time!

  3. I had a stress fracture in my inferior pubic ramus too!!

I took off five months, started back in January 2011...and since then I've had NO issues at all...and in that time, I've run three marathons (including qualifying for Boston and running a 3:26) so there is hope!! It only goes up from here.

My best advice is to find a good substitute form of exercise-- perhaps swimming?

  4. I can certainly feel your pain. I had to take 5 months off and am just starting back slowly.I could say that the time flies by but it does not. Good luck. Keep up the positive attitude.

  5. I understand your feeling but, as Darlene said, the time flies.
Good luck and don't give up. You are strong and smart.
