It's A Happy Day

I don't know about y'all, but mornings around my house can be less than happy.  I have 3 of my teens living at home and it's hit or miss with the happiness bug.  My oldest lives on his own now, thank goodness, he was the worst to deal with in the morning.  When my hubby and I decided to have kids we wanted to have them close together...so now we have all these teens on our hands...I guess we got what we asked for!  Don't get me wrong, they are all great kids...there's just so many of them...and one is a girl, need I say more!

Monday
  • Ran 30 minutes
  • Walk 6 minutes
  • Rowing 10 minutes

Tuesday
  • Adaptive Motion Trainer 35 minutes
Today was weigh in day and I lost another 1.6 lbs making my total loss so far 65.2 this makes me a very happy girl. I haven't been this small or this fit ever and I can see that all my hard work, sweat and tears is paying off big-time.  Make a goal, do the work, reach the goal...bask in the glorious rewards.  Yup that about sums it up!

"Limitations only exist if you let them"

Godspeed...this comes from the Middle English expression "God spede (you)", a wish for success and fortune for one setting out on an enterprise, voyage, adventure, or travels. It may also mean good luck.

  1. Don't lose too much - you're already thin and pretty.
I don't get a chance to be grumpy because my wife is always chipper in the morning.

  8. You've lost about as much as I need to lose. That is awesome! Congratulations.

I'm guardedly chipper in the morning. I don't know how I'm going to feel when I get up. Yet I know that, even if I'm doing really poorly, I can determine my attitude to the day and the other people I met. Not a lesson learned easily (for some), but an important one. So everyone gets to see my friendly side, regardless of how I feel.

    Blessings and Bear hugs!

  9. What a great weight loss! I've been bouncing up and down on the same 5 pounds for months! I'm doing the 30 day shred to kind of kick start my weightloss again! I have about about 50-60 pounds until I hit my goal. ... Well, I think. We will see how I feel (health wise) as I continue to shrink. :) congrats!!

  10. We're just pre-teen here for 2 of ours, but plenty of teen angst already on display. Congrats on the continued successful weight control.
